I never realized there were blog games until yesterday. Nosey me wants to check out everyone's blogs, and apparently once you've read that someone else had been tagged, you are automatically tagged as well. My dear friend Bradi called me out, so I think the least I can do is participate....so here goes........ 5 little known facts about myself: 1. I don't eat breakfast, it makes me nauseous (not to mention I want to eat every 20 minutes after that!). 2. I HAVE to shave my legs every time I shower. I can't stand lotioning hairy legs! 3. I have to apply lotion to my entire body after each shower (me too Bradi). I can't stand how dry my legs and arms feel if I don't. 4. I should buy stock in Carmex. I apply the stuff to my lips every morning when I get up (after I brush my teeth), after each meal, and right before I go to bed. I can't stand dry lips " ) 5. I hate being the center of attention. My face turns flush every time all eyes are on me.

Addison starts school!

Addison started PreK yesterday!! She was so excited about starting school " ) We went to Target last week to buy her a new backpack and she's been wearing it everyday since. She actually put on her backpack yesterday morning as soon as she crawled out of bed....I had to remind her that she had to get dressed and get her hair done before we could go to school.
This is Addison's classroom.......
Look mom, NO TEARS!! She is ready for her day..... I am so proud of her " )

Vortex Springs - LDW
On Labor Day we drove up North a little ways with a group of friends to Vortex Springs. This is a natural spring where you can see 50 feet below the water almost perfectly! The water maintains a constant temp of 68 degrees. It is very cold compared to what we are used to! It took me half the day to get into the water, and when I finally did immerse myself in the water, my breath was taken away and it was difficult to breathe until I got used to the temp.

Labor Day Weekend
TYNDALL BEACH
Sunday we took out our friend's boat to Tyndall Beach. We thought that our legs would buckle after taking the paddleboat back out there while pulling behind yet another boat filled with a cooler, towels, and such. The sad thing is that the boat motor died on us 3/4 of the way there! We were blessed enough to be rescued by some really nice people who towed us to shore. We spent the majority of our time here fishing. It was great! We were fishing for shark, but unfortunately we didn't catch any....however we did catch catfish, croppy, and a jump something or other (that one had teeth!). Notice who caught the most fish?? " )
(We did end up getting the motor fixed just in time to make our trip back)

J to the O to the B
That's right ladies and gents.....I finally got myself back into the world of the working. It's mostly for necessity rather than want, but I can't lie...I really do want to be busy again. Our finances just don't allow for me to be home anymore. So, after dozens of resumes and just one interview, I landed a (what seems to be) a GREAT job!
I will be working full time at the Navy Base in the Human Resources Department. My job title is Secretary III (level 3). The pay is great and the hours are flexible, which is awesome. It almost sounds too good to be true. This opens the door to many more opportunities for me, especially since my ultimate goal is to work in Human Resources.
Addison will start PreK on Monday and then the following week she will go to before/after school care at the same school. I have her enrolled in a private school since Tyndall Elementary doesn't have any openings for PreK yet. This is probably for the best since I can keep her in the same building for her school and day care. The boys will be going to the Youth Center after school (and they are pretty excited about it, too). I didn't think the kids would be so happy for me to go back to work, but so far they are thrilled " )
